Norfolk Community Transport Association

Why should I volunteer as a driver?

People who undertake voluntary duties find the experience enjoyable and rewarding. It benefits the passenger enabling them to reach services and you get the chance to meet and help others within your community.

These volunteers make an enormous contribution to their community and you can too

"I've managed to fit my volunteering in around my family commitments. The hours are flexible, so I still have time to pick the kids up from school. It feels good to be helping others and i'm very happy to give something back while I can"

Karen, 40

"I never considered volunteering until I started my college course which included placements. Since I started, I've met some fantastic people and am gaining valuable experience which will really help me as I want to work in the nursing profession"

Eleanor, 17
